Rolls Royce RR4 - Spied ..

There have been numerous sightings of the new Baby Rolls-Royce sporting the body of the BMW 7-series, but other than an officially released teaser sketch we have not seen how the eventual styling will look. That was of course until today when our spy photographer caught these fresh shots of the new model which currently carries the code name RR4, giving us a first glimpse of the all-new styling. The tried and tested design of the larger Phantom saloon clearly acts as the inspiration for this new model. Development cost and time has been saved by the engineers by using parts from BMW’s long-wheelbase 7-series but they will utilize a powerplant that’s uniquely Rolls-Royce. Most of the shared parts will include various electronic components but the car “will have the attributes and behavior of a Rolls-Royce” said Ian Robertson, CEO of Rolls-Royce. Read more......

The 2000 Rolls-Royce Corniche was a two-door, four-passenger automobile. Rolls-Royce's flagship car, it was the fifth car to bear the Corniche name on its debut in January 2000. At the time of its release, it was the most expensive vehicle offered by Rolls-Royce, with a base price of US$359,900. Styling cues were taken from the Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph sedan, but it shares little mechanically with that BMW-engined car. Instead, the Corniche's body was set onto the older platform used for the similarly-styled Bentley Azure, making it the first and last Rolls-Royce descended from a Bentley rather than the other way around. Rolls Royce Pearl White Phantom ..

Project Kahn presents its creative interpretation of the Rolls Royce Phantom. This refashioning has the Phantom dressed in Pearl White and Project Kahn suggests you give this car a go while attending the Oscars or arriving with the proper theatrics at a casino in Monte Carlo. Thanks for the tip, Guys. As always with Project Kahn, the center of design expression is in the wheels. On this Pearl White Phantom, the wheels are meant to keep Rolls Royce's original badge emblazoned center cap, just in case someone mistakes your newly minted Rolls for a Chevy Caprice bought at a police auction. The 9.5 x 22-inch Kahn Silver Mist Rolls Royce wheels come with a "meticulous diamond polish" to each spoke. These wheels are a drama unto themselves. Read more......

Rolls-Royce Phantom Menace..

A Rolls Royce Phantom decked out in matte black? Okay, we'll have a look but we can't promise we will like it. After all, ultra-luxury vehicles like a Rolls, with its own distinct styling and baroque design, are not something you can easily take home and re-model yourself. Some speculation is in order here on this Rolls. Judging by this video, the setting is Southern California and one has to wonder who this car belongs to. A movie star? No, this car screams music industry outlandishness. Probably a hip-hop artist. By the way, is this thing bulletproof?Read more......

Rolls-Royce 200EX ..

A Rolls-Royce for the man on the street? Hardly. UK CAR magazine reckons the price tag on the RR4 will touch the £180,000 (US$257,000) mark. That's notably less than the £264,000 potential buyers are asked to part with for a Phantom but Rolls Royce say those who do decide to part with it won't feel the difference in ride or interior quality. The ‘waftability' factor in the RR4 will be just as high thanks to the use of similar air springs as those in the big Phantom.
The RR4 will be revealed in Geneva under the name 200EX concept. It's based on the long-wheel-base BMW 7-Series and will be sharing a few parts with it too. Mostly steel is to be used for its body construction and rearward-opening rear doors will feature. Though official dimensions are not yet released these official pictures of the 200EX show a very spacious rear interior. And so it should be since the whole car is about 5.4 metres (212 inches) long.

Rolls-Royce Hyperion Pininfarina .

Pininfarina were challenged and commissioned by car collector Roland Hall to create a vehicle that would pay homage to the sumptuous cars of the 1930s, a challenge that is well within the grasp of the Italians specialists. The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe owned by Hall provides the base for the Hyperion, the rear seats of the model are removed leaving enough area to nudge the driving position back an extra 400mm.To accurately depict the styling of the pre-war cars, Pininfarina had to extend the roof which simultaneously shorten the rear end whilst keeping a beautiful array of soft flowing design lines.
